there are a few tricks to see if you can cure the compression problem. squirt some MMO in the sparkplug hole and lightly screw back in the plug and then turn the engine over so that it will spread to the rings and the valves, do that a few times and let it sit for a few days, then do it again. I have had luck with stuck valves becoming free and the rings coming loose so that I had a running engine again. Can't hurt to try and it is not a hard engne to work if you have to either replace the rings or free up the valve manually. Good luck and congrats on scoring a C70.
