RE: [Honda-C70] Sunday excursion

A: I thought you recently had your front telescopic suspension stiffened by a mechanic adding spacers on top of the springs to pre load the springs . Are you now going to adjust the dampening by using a different W of fork oil ? Or just remove a spacer? In the USA my BMW uses 7.5W fork oil . The Harley Davidson shop which was closer only had 10 W fork oil . They clamed that was what most bikes use. But a c70 with telescopic forks in Pakistan . I would not even have a guess what W fork oil to use to soften the ride. I do think your mechanic must be very happy to see you as you seem to be making changes all the time in you search for the perfect ride. Good Luck! Baby Huey

Subject: [Honda-C70] Sunday excursion

This Sunday it was cloudy and cool. I took a 70 km ride in countryside. Very bumpy road caused silencer to dislocate near centre axle as centre axle nut loosened and put weight on silencer joint. Returned with extremely noisy engine.

Yesterday got that fixed.

Told shock expert to soften rear shocks. They are half as hard. So good ride now. I dreamed that I was riding an 185 cc due to the good performance of my rear shocks. Now front shocks need some softening.
