OK
When you turn the key "ON" the tail light should come on.
When you press the rear brake pedal the rear tail light should come on brighter
ie the stop light.
The head light only comes on when the engine is running. (it has it's own
lighting coil and runs off alternating current) unlike the tail light which is direct current.

two questions c70 1980 6V
1) tail light is on all the time (as soon as i turn the key in the ignition. Is that normal?
2) Headlight - is headlight on only when the bike is running or should it come on similarly to the backlight (as in as soon as the key is turned. Or is something really wrong with the wiring on this machine?
