[Honda-C70] Re: Voltage Regulator

Dan,

I have seen Honda connectors that looked perfect on the outside, yet would barely pass any electricity. After dismantling a connection, I use DeOxit to clean off the crud and oxidation. Smearing on a dab of silicon dielectric grease before reassembly helps prevent future corrosion problems.

Anything grounded to the chassis is ubolted. The metal is cleaned up and sanded if needed to bare metal. A thin coating of silicon dielectric grease is applied before bolting everything back together.

You are right about the Florida humidity, man it will corrode anything.
