[Honda-C70] Re: Crank case threads stripped or something

 

ok first a warning for that which i and you have already done they really don't need to be that tight it is old aluminum and rather brittle don't strip it/snap a bolt off in there.

the actual answer
now you can heli coil or retap your old threads to a slightly bigger size, idk how much bigger you can get though its pretty tight. you could try using gasket maker on both sides but i give no promises on that working it may it may not. it works if your not gonna push against the cover and the screws aren't stripped that bad. but this is a passport every time you shift it pushes against the case and you sound like your screws are pretty stripped. so that ain't gonna work
