Subject: [Honda-C70] Rear wheel dampers
Hello, all, first time poster here.
My husband purchased a lovely 1982 C70 for me last summer, and is in the process of changing the tire on the rear wheel.
He would like to replace the dampers. They are most likely original, as the bike has only 3700 miles on it.
We have looked at the ones for sale on ebay. There are currently three vendors offering dampers. One of the vendors has dampers without the
mounting studs, and states that they are made from a blend of kevlar and rubber (?).
The prices range from $6 to $52 for the sets!
I am not asking for a vendor recommendation, but rather some guidance on where to get quality replacements, what to look for, etc.
Help!
