Thanks baby huey!
It's nice to know I can ask questions here. I tried calling Honda and
they acted like I wouldn't understand.
It's raining today, but I plan on leaving on my 100 mile journey tomorrow.
I am pretty much all packed up!
Have a great Easter weekend!

Liz : It sounds like you did just right. More than likely you adjusted the throttle stop screw ,which is what the phillips head screw near the center of the carb is for. In a few weeks if the weather changes & the idle is to fast just turn it back the other way. The other screw is the fine tune of the mixture. It is a set it & forget it . That is why the factory could put a limit cap on it to keep people from miss adjusting & making the motor run rich & dirty. Baby Huey`s 2 cents

Subject: [Honda-C70] Need help with Idle adjustment screws...
Hello everyone.
I just had the carb cleaned and it kept dying with the choke half open, closed and fully open.
So I read the manual and saw there are two screws I can adjust. So tonight I adjusted one of the screws, but not sure which? when I did turn the screw slowly clockwise the idling got higher....this is a good thing right? because now the bike doesn't die? I didn't go crazy with that screw, just a slight turn clockwise. So now the other screw, do I want to turn that one counterclockwise? I looked at the diagram, but can't tell which screw is which and at what position they should be in?
Thanks.
