That's what I was afraid of Mike. It looked too slick for a home DIY job.
With these bikes being sold to pretty much every other country on the planet except the US and Canada, I guess I'm still surprised that none of the offshore sources have any "off the shelf" solutions for sale to "Rich Americans".
But it makes a good project to think through and play around with. In the meantime, until I find a two-basket saddle bag style solution, I can always clean up and mount my old beat up front basket on the rear to hold a second bag for shopping.
I did check E-Bay just in case, but they had several flavors of front baskets only. Doubt that I'll ever see originals there and I probably wouldn't recognize them if I did.
