We're talking a few cents here and it takes less than 1 quart to do the job!
Buy the very best cycle oil you can find, same goes for any vehicle. The dime or quarter you save is nothing compared to what a rebuild will cost you on a bike that's hard to find some parts for.
I've switched to almost all synthetics for most of my hardware from '60's era Vespa's to old British roadsters. Mobil One is pricey, but so are machine shop rates for boring a cylinder to 10 thousandths over.
