Last week I fixed the issue with my '81's starter by grounding the green/red wire that goes to the neutral safety switch. I'd like to get it all back to good. Before, my green neutral light worked fine and now it stays on all the time. If I get a new neutral switch and hook it back up, will I still have the issue with the starter? I mean, it just seems odd that the switch would work fine for the light, but still interfere with the starter system.
