Recently bought a 1981 C70 Honda Passport with only 6000 miles on it and in good looking condition. The guy told me he had it sitting in his garage for the past 2 years, but it fired right up on the first kick. After I got it home I cleaned out the carb, bought a new air filter, put in new gas, changed out the oil, and bought a new battery. The thing purrs like a kitten, but my problem is coming from my electrical. When I put the battery on, the signals and taillight worked fine, but no headlight. I fooled with it for a bit then decided to wait till the next morning to dig into the problem. When I walked out the next morning, the battery was dead, signals don't work, but taillights and headlight work fine. I don't understand what's going on. It is like when the battery is in and charged the headlight has a short, but when it's dead it acts as a connector and the headlight works fine. Any ideas anybody? I've heard there is a fuse on the bike but i can't find it, can anyone point me in the right direction with that as well?
Thanks,
Jason
