Hi I'm 6' 4'' and have no problem shifting, I always use the heel of my left foot to shift from 1st to 2nd and then 3rd, I have almost dragged my toe a couple of times, but caught it in time, I never use the front except to downshift. Bill

Most of my problem appears to be just not understanding the mechanism of the
shifter, and trying to shift like a regular motorcycle just without the
clutch. Releasing the shifter slowly helps a lot, and is 90% of the
problem. The other 10% is my size-I'm too tall to effectively reach the
heel shifter, and my feet are barely able to fit under the toe shifter. Not
a huge problem, since this is mostly my Wife's bike.
