The steering stem nut is not that tight, I got a cheep socket and took a hacksaw and cut it into a 4 prong
socket, works like a charm. Down side for you, I could only find a 1/2 drive socket but I do have 1/2 drive
tools from my heavy machinery days. You could make a socket out of any round stock tube. Does not have to be that
heavy, black pipe from Home Depot would work.

Yeah it's already banged up from a few botched attempts at trying to punch it out (which in itself is a pain when the bike's on a block), besides it'd come OFF but not ON, at least not with the precision required. The tool from dratv.com SEEMS reasonable, until you take into account the fixed $6 shipping for lightweight items, at which case you're paying $30 for a wrench. Tomorrow I'll go to back to autozone to swap the socket & maybe stop by Lowes to get some 12 or so gauge wire, I'll let you guys know how it works out.
