RE: [Honda-C70] Re: Battery question

Mike M : Since you didn`t know if you could replace the 6 volt battery ,6n11-2D is the ONLY correct battery ,with a 12 volt battery ,maybe some one has put 12 volt bulbs in the turn signals by mistake. 12 V bulbs are easy to find in stores but get only 1/2 the power they need to light when in a 6v system . So they only glow not light up. If you remove any 1 of the turn signal bulbs & it is not 6v you will need to replace all 4 bulbs with 6v bulbs & 6v bulbs are very hard to find in most stores . The files section at the bottom of the page can help you look up the number of the correct bulbs if that is the problem . Good Luck ! Baby Huey

When I say my signals are weak, I mean they can't be seen during daylight hours but can be seen in the night.But the thing is I'm not even allowed to ride at night yet and want to do my parking lot test asap in the daytime.the headlight and tailight/brakelight show up fine in the day.

When you say the turn signals are 'weak' do you just mean slow? Cause they do that on low RPM...Remember your headlamp is really your only voltage regulation beyond the battery so if the battery goes your bulbs go. Check your fluid levels & when you buy a new battery invest in a bench charger.

Anyways here's this. http://www.google.com/search?aq=f&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=6N11-2D#q=6N11-2D&hl=en&safe=off&sa=X&tbs=p_ord:p&tbm=shop&prmd=ivns&ei=RV9FTpyQFKvZiAK88eHJAQ&ved=0CAoQuw0oAQ&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.&fp=200a4278d8f8f451&biw=1600&bih=1110

Size for >=1981 is 6N11-2D
