The speedometer / odometer is driven off the front wheel. Have you had the front wheel off lately?
Is the cable housing still attached to the front wheel brake backing plate?
Then the inner cable broke or the housing came loose from the speedometer inside the headlight housing.
You will need to do some troubleshooting. You can take the headlight off and look in and see if the housing is still
attached. You can try pulling down on the housing while you look to see that it is still attached. If it is attached
then you problem is in the lower section.
