RE: [Honda-C70] Carb needle/float assembly pic-WANTED!

Are you using the OEM needle or a replacement ? Some of the replacements are a different length & don`t fit right. Have you tried a paper sucker stick in the needle hole to wipe the seat clean of dirt & crud . Hard enough to rub hard to clean but wont scratch or gouge the seat. Good Luck! Subject: [Honda-C70] Carb needle/float assembly pic-WANTED!

Just got an 81 C70 with only 832 miles on it. Did not run well due to bad gas and rusty tank. Cleaned tank and carb etc. Bike starts and idles but I have not been successful in repeated attempts to assemble the needle/float and carb continues to flood. Once again,the bike is unmolested and has never been worked on previously. All the pics I have seen in the various online manuals are very fuzzy and I need to see a very clear pic of how the float and needle go in. I just finished a complete 4 carb overhaul on my 72 CB750K and working on this simple nearly new scoot should be so easy that "a cave man could do it"....Any pics or links would be greatly appreciated... HELP!!
