[Honda-C70] fuel drained on the street

Does this sound possible - I was riding my c70 home from work the other day and all of a sudden it just stopped running in the middle of the street. I pulled over and noticed a puddle of gas under the bike. I had a friend with a truck help me get it home and the only thing I can find that would've caused this is the drain screw on the carburetor was very loose. I tightened it back up and am going to put gas in it today, but has anyone ever had a problem with the drain screw coming loose like that? I'm hoping this was just a weird isolated incident. Thanks in advance for any comments!
