First thing, when you are looking at the emails, is there a section at the bottom of the screen that starts with C70 passport not running right?
That is a group of manuals to help you work on the C70.
Scroll down to "1980-83 C70 Honda Service Manual: http://tinyurl.com/hu42c "
When you get that open you scroll down to section 5-2, the picture in the middle is
the removal of the muffler. The front two nuts are the "setting nuts", the two in the rear are the "mounting nuts", you remove the nuts (4ea) and the pipe / muffler will come off.
To install, just reverse the process. (sorry that is all Honda says) but really that is
all it takes. You remove the old gasket at the cylinder head exhaust port. install a
new gasket, install the new pipe / muffler. I try to put new nuts on the studs on the head
as the heat will ruin them. I also use HI temp antiseeze on the threads.
The nuts on the head are 6mm so a torque of 6-9 ft-lbs. The rear nuts are 8mm so
a torque of 13-18 ft-lbs..

I bought a Haynes manual for the 1982 C70 Honda Passport, and it does have some information for the exhaust, air filter replacement, but doesn't cover the muffler replacement.
Where can I get detailed instructions for the muffler replacement?
I have the new muffler from Dratv, and I have the tools, and even a torque wrench. :)
Just need a step by step or something close to it.
Thank you in advance!
Liz :)
