Re: [Honda-C70] 1981 passport 145 miles!! close to mint

Travis,
If I were a college student, I would most definitely ride it. I would get
baskets for my books, a pair of goggles ands viola!. When I was in class the
goggles would be around my neck. Great way to meet girls.
Angus

My first reaction is ride it !  Having had 2 sons in college I know that
college kids have nowhere to store anything , except at mom & dads . And since
Honda cubs are the most made motor cycle in the world [ all passports are cubs
but not all cubs are passports] there is little likely hood anyone would
consider your bike a collectors item. If it was still in the crate ,never sold
with all the correct paper work , then it would be a collectors item in my
opinion.  That said if you did get a title you still need to find out what
registration fees will be . If 30 years of back fees & penalties is too much for
a college kid to swallow ,there is the last option of parting the bike out. Sad
to say but " Frankenstein's monster " is what keeps the daily drivers alive & on
the road.  Hope I  didn`t rain on your parade too hard .  Good Luck !  Baby
Huey  PS  why hasn`t anyone ever found a bike stored by an old man  ?????  Did
he trade it for a boat ?
