i like big tires on daily drivers they are comfier, grip better, and make a bike more stable. on race bikes i like tiny fronts, 2.25, and reasonable backs so it is easy to throw into a corner and handles better. it's all personal preference i know people who run 2 inch tires front and back and others 3.5 in the back and 3.0 in the front.

Would there be any advantage if I were to switch my tire size? I know that the 17X2.25 on the front would make the speedo more accurate.
