I totally agree with you.

On hilly areas, this motorcycle has earned the nickname of Rocket. I once sat behind my cousin who took up up a very steel incline in first gear, where even cars stalled. I was amazed by its ability to handle over 30 degree inclines.

I never liked its high screaming pitch either (poor engine), so I got both the front and rear sprockets changed. What a world of a difference now. My aim was reducing rpm, not increasing top speed.

I too will search for a 17 teeth sprocket.
