[Honda-C70] Re: Full throttle

 

1K miles is fine. Just don't let it get low. And you really shouldn't
need to add oil once you've topped it off. If you do, then it may be
time for a top end rebuild. These motors really are bulletproof.
You've seen the videos of the Brits running the Cub90 on used vegetable
oil? As long as there is sufficient lubrication, these motors can be
beat to a pulp and be happy about it. The only other thing that I can
think of that may damage the motor is laying it down or downshifting
when at WOT. These are still 'ifs'. I rode the hell out of my Passport
for years when it had a bent shift shaft and a cracked detent arm.
