[Honda-C70] turn signal question

 

been working out the quirks to get my bike ready for everyday use. my left rear turn signal is not working. tried a good bulb and still no luck. when i turn the right blinker on, the switch near the battery makes a "blinker" sound. when i hit the left, no sound. the front left does light up and stay solid. i will try to get my hands on a test light tomorrow. any ideas? take care.
