This Ford Falcon using EcolPi system (liquid phase LPG injection system). Technology EcolPi allegedly has better performance than LPG E-Gas venturi-style vapour system that is still offered today. Thanks to this new technology, power and torque becomes larger while fuel consumption and fewer emissions dump. Falcon EcolPi engine can generate power to 265 hp and 409 Nm of torque at 3250 rpm rotation. Ford claimed Falcon power increase of 27 percent and torque by 10 percent spike compared with the machine applying the E-Gas LPG. Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions is claimed to be better by 12-15 percent.
Ford will build two models using EcolPi, are the sedan Falcon and Falcon Ute. Falcon EcoLPi available in a range of engine 6-cylinder Falcon XT, G6, G6E and XR6. As for Falcon EcoLPi Ute (Cab Chassis and Styleside Box) in a choice of XL, R6 and XR6.
