Re: [Honda-C70] Sidecar???

TV news field cameraman, the guys you see freezing their butts off in horrible weather to show those at home how stupid we are, also seen in giant clusters at political events, sports and around a politician when he shows his true stripes. Did a lot of good stuff as well, and saw some horrible motorcycle accidents that are burned into the brain. Makes me a much more careful rider. In all my years I never ran across a Honda C70 until I got interested in this site and bought one. Bill

I worked in television/radio for a few years. Lots of interesting things you get to see and do that normally you wouldn't be allowed to do. Fun stuff! Sounds like that German Shepherd had a blast! How fun! I love dogs too!

The best segment was his rounding a curve and approaching my location at roadside doing around 60. The dog's ears were flapping wildly, and he was clearly loving it. It's burned into memory. Love them critters. Love to make them happy as well. Bill

If you have a friend who is a good engineer and a welder, that might be the cheapest way to go. I have a friend who has way too many talents and built a wonderful rig for his MotoGuzzi. His capabilities are far above the average craftsman, though. Do some reading on how a sidecar affects handling before you spend any money. It's a different machine with an outboard third wheel. Bill

There, you'll see a clean looking yellow side car on a nice yellow C70. You could try emailing the member to see if he could give you some clue where he got it from. It would be interesting to see the availability of those sidecars. I'm sure that such a nice line side car would be in demand here in the States.
