Sounds like the chain is stretched and worn. If it were me, I would replace the chain at this point. Usually, the sprockets need to be replaced at the same time. Failure to do so results in accelerated wear on the new chain. Chain failure usually means the chain will snap forward and damage the engine side cases, a much more expensive and difficult repair. Chains should be lubed frequently, once every gas fill would not be too often. The C70 chain can be lubed in place through the inspection hole, with a good spray chain lube.
