Shame on you folks for telling the new guy to tie himself to the back of a truck for more speed . Even if he did wear off 100 Lbs or so being drug by the truck he would surely end up with 100 Lbs. of casts & bandages . Next they will tell some one to go to the airport & stand behind jets taking off for a quick tan [extra crispy] . The days of 50`s 70`s & 90`s being learner bikes are gone . If you need 55MPH you need a 250cc or larger bike just to not be run over by an SUV driver on their cell phone. Baby Huey`s 2 cents

So I hear, but the only issue I see with this plan is that those kinds of large semi-trucks good for drafting aren't commonly found just toodling around the city. In order to catch one you'd have to jump on the expressway and get up to 55 or so...kind of a catch-22.

Maybe you could ride wide open down the shoulder, and as one goes hurtling past you swerve at the last second and hope to get sucked along behind it.
