Subject: [Honda-C70] 1981 C70 Passport - Getting it Started..
Before I take off the new carb I put on last year... am I missing something obvious?
Gas in tank
Flowing to carb
Petcock on
Run on
Switch on yolk (no key) is on.
All lights in place.
Choke on
Battery fully charged.
Throttle cable working
Runs for a bit if I spray that quick start in.
If I open the drain at the bottom of the carb nothing.
If I tip the bike nothing runs out.
Blowing and (sucking) on the vent tubes nothing..
Is there some type of vacuum that needs to get established?
Should I be able to flood it by opening the throttle and tipping the bike?
Best advice...
We had one almost nice day to be out in the unheated garage... I was hoping to kick it over and have it aimed at the door ready to ride. Michigan weather sucks...LOL
Thank you.
