[Honda-C70] Re: Engine won't turn over

 

Hello Bill,

After all of this back & forth, what you & we need to know is what model 50cc Honda you have?

So looking at the frame just above the engine on the left, or elsewhere, there should be a model number? If it is C or CA 100, 102, 105T, 110, 111,... it would be an OHV valve engine and you should see the shop manual here

in the Yahoo classicpushrodhonda50s group. Any parts list would also show pictures of the parts which is helpful.

If on the other hand, you have a C or S 50 65 70 etc. then you are in the right place! ANd we have shop manuals and parts list here too!

The idea is that removing the head of an OHC engine is slightly more 'tricky' than removing the head of an OHV engine!

Generally Hond aput the spark plug on the left on OHVs and on the right on OHCs :) At least on their 90cc singles!

Pictures would help us too :) And whereabouts, generally on the planet are you and the motorcycle?
